This story is about six Army personnel, one of whom once worked for the NSA They were stationed in Augsburg, Germany. On July 6, 1990 they decided to leave Germany to get a message to the president. They left without telling anyone. They went AWOL. The message they were to give to the president was about future occurences they were positive were going to happen.

On July 14, 1990 five of the six were apprehended in Gulf Breeze, Florida by two FBI agents and a Gulf Breeze police officer. The sixth was apprehended the night before when being stopped for a broken tail light. He had pleaded to the officers not to run his name through the computer. His pleas were not heard and the officers proceeded to enter his name. They found his name and those of the other five all over the International Crime Net including INTERPOL. He did not mention where the other five were but the FBI had started tracking the area and eventually found them through other sources.

They had been detained and interrogated by the FBI and then by the Army. After their capture news reports of soldiers who had gone AWOL finally reached the public. The information released was mainly false, such as the USA Today report that they were in Gulf Breeze to meet Jesus in a UFO. Eventually they were released and remarkably reinstated into the Army. Never in the history of the Army had any soldiers, after having been AWOL, been released and asked to come back and be reinstated. The six soldiers would be known as the Gulf Breeze 6.

Six military intelligence soldiers who were picked up by the police in Florida as deserters were on a mission to destroy the Antichrist, a member of their unit said. The soldier, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the the six left their unit in Augsburg, West Germany, to find the biblical figure who, it is believed, will challenge the Christ second coming and spread universal evil. The soldiers also told a Tennesse man that they were in the United States for the Rapture, a Florida newspaper reported. During the Rapture, fundamental Chrsitians believe the fathful will be taken into Heaven, thus signaling the world end.

Other details about the soldiers were difficult to obtain Army officials have ordered soldiers not to discuss the case with the media. The six soldiers are assigned to the 701st Military Intelligence Brigade. They were rounded up by police in Gulf Breeze, Florida near Pensacola, after one of the soldiers was stopped Friday while driving a van with faulty tail lights. They are being held at Fort Benning, Georgia. A routine counterintelligence investigation is being conducted.

They have been identified as Michael J. Heuckstaedt, 19, of Farson, Wyoming.; Kris P. Perlock, 20, of Hudson, Wisconsin.; William N. Setterberg, 20, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Kenneth G Beason, 26, of Jefferson City, Tennessee; Vance A. Davis, 26, of Wichita, Kansas and Annette F. Eccleston, 22, of Connecticut. The six are members of a cult called "The End of the World," Pentagon officials said. The cult has additional members in the Augsburg area, the soldiers in Augsberg said. There are others who are upset because they didn't get invited to go along on the search for the Antichrist, he said.

The six gave away their possessions to friends before they left, including a new $3,000 stereo system belonging to Perlock, the soldier said. They also set their records and books ablaze in a bonfire behind the barracks, according to the soldier, who lives in the same billets as Perlock did. The Tennessee man who sold two of the soldiers the Volkswagen van that led to their arrest said they were in the Pensacola area because they believed that the Rapture would take place in Florida.

"They believe the Rapture was going to happen in Pensacola Beach in October, "William Grant told the Pensacola News Journal. "I don't want to talk down to anyone about anyone else's religious beliefs, but they said if they weren't on the beach in Pensacola they would'nt go to heaven." Augsburg officials on Wednesday would not comment on the counterintelligence investigation or the status of the six soldiers.

Augsburg Military Community spokeswoman 1st Lt. Sonja Smith said the six are being investigated because they had access to classified information within the last 12 months. The investigation is classified, she said. While military officals would not comment on the duties of the six soldiers, the mission of the 701st is to provide rapid radio relay and secure communications for the defense of the United States and its allies, and to do research into "other electronic phenomena," according to a mission statement.

The Government disinformed people about what really happened. Their claims that they were part of a cult was unfounded, and was said to down play and give reason to what had actually occured. Vance Davis was always psychicly inclined. He is the major part of this story. It started in Augsburg, Germany in May of 1988 when Bill (Willam Setterberg) decided to use a Ouija Board which Ken (Beason) had bought. Ken and Vance didn't want to, but they were outvoted by Bill and Mike Heuckstaedt.

Vance had known about Ouija Boards and knew that usually negative energies came out. They decided they would protect themselves first by saying a prayer and asking Jesus to help. This may sound a bit rediculous to you, but after hearing a few seances on the radio during Halloween, this seems to be a way to weed out "evil" and to be able to "channel" in on good energies.

Quoting Vance Davis from the book: "We lit one white candle and set up the recorder. Bill had pencil and paper to record the letters. I was nervous, but also excited, because I could feel the energy in the room change to a higher order.

As we put our fingers on the plachette and started to ask if anyone was there, a feeling came through of YES, and the plachette started to move to thse letters.

At first I thought Ken was moving the thing, and Ken thought I was. We were introduced to an entity by the name of Safire. The first question we asked of her was who the Lord is. She answered the Jesus Christ is the One and Only Lord. We found that she used to be lving on our plane, and had died at age 89 in a place called Sebina, Georgia in the 1960's.

I should tell you that I knew she was of female origin because of the energy I felt coming through. It was motherly and not so physical like a male would be. We started by asking why she was talking to us. We were informed that we had asked for them to answer some questions that we had, and since we were not listening, they had decided to allow contact by this means.

Before Safire continued, she shared with us three rules to follow on any investigation or research. This fits into everything anybody can and must do. One: We were told never to believe anything that you are told or read. Two: Always confirm everything you are told or read. Finally three: Always follow your own spirit for it will never mislead you.

I knew at once that this was going to change our lives. The first session dealt with a lot of stuff about us and where it could go. We had to ask specific questions, and no information was received without the proper question being asked. The first session lasted about three hours and afterwards we all were wide awak and discussed the even.

Although I did not think we needed to do this anymore, Bill and Ken insisted we meet again with some pertinent questions to ask. Each of us agreed to write our questions down and meet a week later on my and Ken's day off.

It actually was two weeks later when we finally got together for a session that would last almost eight hours.

Again the information was very detailed, and the questions very forward. We decided to ask Ken's questions, which dealt a lot with the alien question and UFO's. We received much information that had no way of being confirmed. Ken was still excited about it, just as I was about some of it.

I wanted to find out more on the spiritual side. I did have some things confirmed through the board about Kia and others that I won't go into here. Ken finally asked a question about wanting some proof of who they are and that what they were saying was true.

Safire answered that it would not make much difference to Ken even if they proved it without a doubt. That actually worried me somewhat then. I would not know why until four years later. Ken pushed until he got an answer of some proof from them. They told him that his grandfather was there doing work with the new souls getting ready to come down. Ken wanted proof that it was his grandfather.

Safire left for about five minutes and when she came back she told Ken that his grandfather's name was John. Ken went nuts at that point, saying that they were wrong and all this was bullshit. The session ended.

Three days later Ken asked me over and told me that his grandfather was known around the town where Ken lived as John. Ken had talked to his sister, and he had been too small to remember his grandfather's nickname was John. I felt the skin crawl on my neck. After discussing all the alien information we had received, we decided to bring out the board in two days.

This third session ended up giving us the name of a woman in Munich that would have some information for us on the alien and UFO situation. The woman's name was Gabriel. We did, indeed, find that woman in Munich and she gave us some information and documents that were interesting, to say the least.

That paperwork was taken by the officer who had arrested Mike in Pensacola. We never saw it again." We started to make plans to get out of the service, or over to the U.S., any way we could. All of our plans failed. The last session on the board gave us the following insights that solidified our decision to go AWOL: to warn the public about what might occur, and to get the information to the highest possible source within the government, the President himself"

The board informed them that they could not leave until after July 1, 1990. They later found out that a law was changed by President Bush to allow deserters from Vietnam to come back and be officially discharged from service.

They were also informed that the phones were tapped, and that the DIA knew about them. They rest of the book goes on telling about their interrogation and their release, which they believed Sen. Robert Dole had some help in doing. It also mentions Vance Davis' appearance on a few TV shows, one of which was Sightings on the FOX network.

It was that appearence that I had first heard of him and his predictions. He was talking about natural disasters and other things he claimed would happen.
Sightings is a very interesting show to me, knowing that shows like this don't come on every day I try to tape it as much as I can. I did tape the show Vance Davis was on, and it's a good thing for me.

If you don't know me, I should tell you I live in New York City. I was definately surprised when Vance Davis claimed there was going to be an explosion in New York City in February or March. At that time it had been February so I thought it was nonsense. After all, things seemed pretty boring around here. Just the normal amount of crime was happening so there was nothing really too unusual.

On February 21 I decided at the last minute to go with my brother to see a movie. I can't even remember what it was about, but it doesn't matter much. After the movie was over we drove back home, it must have been 2:30 or even 3:00 in the afternoon.

The strangest thing had happened. When we turned on the TV, channels 4,7,11 were knocked out. Channel 4 is WNBC and Channel 7 is WABC. Channel 11 is WPIX (now part of Warner Brothers network). We put on Channel 2 and all we saw on TV was havoc! The news was on live coverage of an explosion at one of the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center.

You should know, the the Twin Towers are the two identical looking buildings you see in pictures of the New York skyline. The one with the antennae is used for broadcasting of radio and TV signals for some of New York's channels. Such as Channel 4, 7, and 11 (whose logo reflects the Twin Tower's iamge).

Eventually Channel 4 came back on, but on channel 21, which was a PBS station. I guess they paid them to use their wave band. Channel 2's news program isn't to my liking, Channel 4 news is known to have some great mishaps happen on air (quite frequently! more fun to watch!). They were reporting live, showing pictures of people being carried out by Fire Fighters.

They mentioned that there had been some type of explosion but weren't sure if it had been by a gas leak or by a bomb. My brother and I just looked at each other and rewinded the tape that had "Sightings" on it. Sure enough, there was an explosion in New York City in February. The Sightings show had revealed that it would be a gas explosion.

Which would have fit the early description of what had occurred. A few days later the ATF reported it had been a bombing, and it had been intended to bring down the building. We were a bit dismayed when it wasn't a gas leak. Surely something must be wrong.

Either it was Vance Davis, or there was a coverup by the government.. we were sure of that! It was until Mid-1994 or something, that we had read in the newspaper about something called the "Whole Life Expo", which would be at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan. My brother, my friend, and I wanted to go, since in the paper it mentioned about lectures on UFOs and Aliens and stuff! (COOL!) When we got there I had finally found out what the 3-Day event was about. Whole Life is some sort of New Age crap.

You know...people who do all that yoga stuff... the meta-physical.. spiritual healings... People were selling New Age music tapes, they had a food court of all these health foods that made Chinese Food look like McDonalds. Not to mention that the food stunk from the spices!

There were these yoga types with long beards and you can see them trying to heal people by moving their hands around them! I knew we had to be in the wrong place, but I didn't want to look stupid in front of my brother and my friend after each paying a $15 entrance fee! So we looked into our guide directory which told which lectures/workshops there were and what day/time it would he held.

There was no way in hell we would ever come back here, so I figured since we were here we should try to find somthing interesting. We did! A lecture on Alien Abudctions by Bud Hopkins (a writer of many books and an interesting person), a lecture on some new gimmick that supposedly created free energy.

That was one of the biggest cons I ever saw. He claimed his machine could pull electricity out of the air, but that he was being shut up about it by the U.S. government because it could destroy the economy. The machine is bullshit!

The guy was an ex-con, and if you asked me, the only thing his machine could pull out is the money from your pocket!

The last thing we had time for was something I noticed in the directory. It was a lecture by Vance Davis, one of six who had gone AWOL and were picked up in Gulf Breeze. It sounded damn familiar, and I had to ask my brother, who has a better memory than me, if it was the same guy that was on Sightings a year ago. He wasn't sure either, but the lecture was free so it couldn't hurt us if we dropped in.

As Vance Davis started setting up his microphone I wasn't too sure if it was the same guy. It had been a year, and images in my head just get warped after 5 hours anyway (!). He started speaking about spiritual stuff and I was thinking it was going to be bullshit until he said that some of us might recognize him from being on Sightings.

I knew then it was the same guy, but he kept talking about Angels and some being he claimed was from another planet that he was receiving messages from since he was a kid. Her name was Kia.

I started thinking it was going to be bullshit, again! He didn't seem like he was nuts. He was talking about his NSA days and eventually got into the prediction part. He mentioned that Sightings had aired the show he was on, but he had said while taping that it would be an explosion by gas or by a terrorist bomb. Sightings had edited out the bomb part.

I guess he believed it was not to alarm anyone. After all, when the move Skyjack was released there had never been any Sky Jackings. They got the idea after watching the movie. Maybe the Sightings show was edited so there wouldn't be any ideas of terrorist activities.

I don't know, but that answered my question about why that prediction seemed a bit off. Actually, it was right on the money! Vance Davis went on to talk about other predictions, some spiritual and some other "secret government" type stuff, and even stuff about UFOs and Aliens.

Throughout the lecture he kept mentioning the three rules he was told to follow. One: Never to believe anything that you are told or read. Two: Always confirm everything you are told or read. Three: Always follow your own spirit for it will never mislead you

He also told us that the goverment always disinforms the public. You can never believe everything you read in the paper, or see on TV. But if you want the truth you must confirm it. And after confirming it, you must follow your instinct as I like to put it.

At the end of his lecture he mentioned that he had written a book about his experiences, but had not yet found a publisher. He was selling copies of the manuscript for $20. What the hell right? He did mention that it contained some of the predictions he had received, and after he gotten the World Trade Center explosion correct I just had to see what was next!

The following are the predictions he has written, he did mention in the book that not all predictions may come true, and that predictions could be changed by Man, if he follows the correct path. The predictions he listed were ones he felt, after researching, had the highest probability of occurring.

These predictions will come true between 1990-2045. Some are given the year they will happen. Here they are! I hope you save a copy of this and follow it. If two or more come true, start believing! In it you will see a prediction of the earthquake in Kobe, Japan!

The following events have occured before we left Germany. They helped secure our worry and concern and prompted us to go AWOL.

RUSSIAN EARTHQUAKE WILL KILL OVER 1000
IRAN EARTHQUAKE OVER 300,000 KILLED OR INJURED
(Teheran, Iran - May 1990)
MAJOR UFO CONFERENCE CANCELED DUE TO GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE IN GERMANY.

Most of what made us leave was the spiritual and environmental changes that would bebin to occur in the United States during the next ten years. The following occurred after we had left Germany. The actual prediction is in caps with comments in brackets. It will be this way throughout the chapter.

WAR IN THE MIDDLE EAST SHALL BE A WARNING FOR ARMAGEDDON. THE PARTIES WILL INVOLVE THE U.S., IRAQ, AND ISRAEL, BUT IF ISRAEL STAYS OUT, THEN THE WAR WILL LAST ONLY 100 DAYS TOTAL WITH 45 DAYS OF BATTLE. IF NOT, THEN A SMALL NUCLEAR EXCHANGE WILL OCCUR.

(This started when Saddam went into Kuwait in August 1990)
{Pan Note: During the Gulf War I remember the news stating the the U.S. told ISRAEL to stay out of the war because it may create a worse scene than it already was. If you read the beginning of this file you'll see that the Gulf Breeze Six were caught in July 1990. By August the U.S. was sending troops to Saudi Arabia and Israel. Some how I feel that the message was sent to the President about the prediction, since Israel did not enter the war. Israel's history shows that it never quits. When confronted they always fight back. When they were being bombarded by SCUD missiles they vowed revenge and said that if any of the SCUDs had Gas or Biological components that they would use nuclear arsenal against Iraq. oh shit!}

THE LEADER OF THE ATTACKING FORCE WILL NOT BE HARMED AND THIS IS BUT A TEST OF RESOLVE. PROMISES ARE MADE TO KEEP BOTH SIDES INTACT.

(This can only mean Saddam and America.)

SHUTTLE WILL NOT BE LAUNCHED IF THEY CATCH FUEL LEAK. IF NOT, THEN THE CHALLENGER DISASTER WILL BE REPEATED.

(In August 1990, approximately 8 seconds before liftoff the computer shut down the launch because of the exact problem listed.)

GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL WILL LOSE AWOL SOLDIERS IN ATLANTA; THEY KNOW YOU ARE LEAVING, BUT ALL WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF.

(There was a military agent on the plane who did lose us on July 6, 1990 as I found on a statement later in released materials. We had sent some camping supplies to Texas where they were turned in with the wildest story.)

(The National Guard in the L.A. area started training for riots in Novemer of 1991. Soon the Rodney King case would spark those riots in 1992. Was it planned or did the Government use our prediction to prepare?)

EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY WILL BE IN POWER - 1992 THIS WILL LEAD TO FINANCIAL PROBLEMS IN LATER YEARS.

(They signed the agreement in 1992 to form that union for economic cooperation.)

ALL BORDERS DROPPED IN EUROPE - 1992

(That group's action was to drop all border requirements.)

WEATHER AND EARTH CHANGES WILL CAUSE MASS PROPERTY DESCRUCTION WITH SOME LIVES LOST. RAIN FOR DAYS, SUPER TORNADOES, SUPER HURRICANES, SEVERE DROUGHT WHERE IT WAS VERY WET, WEATHER REVERSAL, SEVERE WINTERS, SEVERE SUMMERS WITH RECORD HIGHS. THIS IS THE 10,000 YEAR CYCLE OF EARTH, SO PREPARE. IT WILL LAST FOR THIRTY YEARS.

(We all know what has occurrred so far and in my own State of New Mexico, our Monsoon weather has gone away. There have been floods in the Midwest, hurricans in the Southeast, and fires in the West. The severest weather will end after 1996.)
{Pan Note: Last year, 1994, New York City had its worst winter on record. This year it has been quite calm. Four years ago, New York had its hottest summer on record, with a few days reaching over 100 degrees}

THE INSURANCE CORPORATIONS WILL START THEIR COLLAPSE IN 1993 AND WILL BE SUBSIDIZED BY 1996.

(This particular prediction is here because the insurance companies are putting all their money into paying disaster victims, with more on the way.)

YOUNGEST PRESIDENT ELECTED SINCE KENNEDY - 1992

(Gee! I wonder who this could be.)

NEW LAWS AND SIGNED DOCUMENTS WILL CAUSE THE UNITED STATES TO BORROW EVEN MORE.

(This sets up for our take over in the future through economic means. Not military, though they could be used for certain jobs.)

AN EXPLOSION WILL STIR NEW YORK AND BE A WARNING OF FURTHER DAMAGE. IT WILL BE CAUSED GAS LEAKS OR TERRORISTS USING A BOMB. REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A WARNING. THEY ARE KNOWN AS THE "WOLF HEAD."

(I had filmed "Sightings" in November of 1992 and that show aired on Friday, February 12, 1993. It was the highest rated show Fox had that week. In it, not fully, the prediction was stated and on February 21, 1993 an explosion rocked the World Trade Center.)

EXPLOSION IN SPACE - 1993

(A communication satellite exploded for unknown reasons that summer. It was reported in a trade paper.)

VOLCANIC ERUPTIONS INCREASE STARTING IN 1993 AND WILL LAST THROUGH 1996. THE RING OF FIRE HAS AWAKENED AGAIN.

(It has increased and Mt. Pinutobo is the latest to go off.)
{Pan Note: The Ring Of Fire is an actual term for the outlines of the pacific plates. It goes from around China, Japan, Hawaii, California, Alaska. It literally forms a ring when presented on a world map}

AN EARTHQUAKE IN LOS ANGELES WILL REGISTER AROUND 8.3 IN LATE 1993 AND WILL CAUSE MAJOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, BUT VERY LITTLE DEATH.

(Earlier in 1993 they had lowered the Richter scale by one point. The earthquake happened two weeks into 1994 and the final rating was 7.3, exactly one point lower. This quake was to show instability in the area.)
{Pan Note: It's important to keep in mind that seismologists had lowered the Richter Scale by one point as the rest of the earthquake predictions may be 1 point higher than the actual quake. You'll see what I mean further on as the Kobe quake was predicted!}

AN EARTHQUAKE WILL FOLLOW IN SEATTLE OF 5.4 OR HIGHER WHICH WILL HELP CAUSE MT. RAINER TO ERUPT.

(This was to follow the earthquake in LA. after that quake the activity in Washington State inthat area will incrase. I was on KING TV, in Seattle, "Evening Magazine," and stated this in 1993 along with the next prediction. The scientists on the show agreed.)

MT. RAINER WILL ERUPT AND DESTROY LARGE PORTIONS OF LAND AND PROPERTY IN THE SEATTLE AREA BETWEEN 1993-1995.

(It is now reported in the latest news that the temperature has risen and the top rock has become soft, making a mud slide of large magnitude very likely, since the mountain has been shaking a little lately. Mt. Rainer does sit on the Ring of Fire.)

GUN LAWS PASSED AND ACCEPTED IN 1994.

(The Brady Bill was passed and took effect on January 1, 1994. The new crime bill when they finish arguing will be passed.)
{Pan Note: Is it just me, or did the name Newt Gingrich enter your mind as well? That new crime bill sounds much like what they're talking about in Congress now!}

TERRORISM IN ISRAEL WILL CAUSE A PEACE AGREEMENT IN 1993.

(The Palestinians now have a country.)

MARKING WITH MICROCHIPS WILL BEGIN IN THE GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY IN 1994.

(This is one of the reasons we left Germany, but to our surprise the first sign of this showed up when they started to mark dogs. They now have look at children and new government employees. We are still looking for insurmountable evidence.)

HOMELESS AND UNDESIRABLES ARE ROUNDED UP IN MAJOR CITIES STARTING IN 1994.

(Unforunately this has occurred in San Francisco and Chicago and probably other cities we have not heard about.)

{Pan Note: You can include New York now. Since Mayor Rudoplh Giuliani took over, the streets were clean of squeegees. (they wash your car window at a red light without asking, then ask for money.) Sidewalk venders were removed. You must see some of these to understand why. Most of the venders were not licensed and sold stuff outside of storefronts. Store owners were mad that they had to pay huge rent (sometimes $8,000 a month!) and the venders didn't have to pay anything. Plus, the venders did not have to pay income tax since they weren't licensed, they really had no proof they actually sold anything. Many venders protested. But they were swept of the streets!.}

The following predictions have not occurred and hopefully some of them will not. There are good and bad events and there is a purpose for all of it. We will change and take our place in the Universe, Many of them do not have dates, the reason being that it is difficult to name years let alone exact dates. As the prediction gets closer you can see trends that could lead to that end. This is how predictions should be taught and learned.

U.S. STOCK MARKET HAS A CRASH 1994-1995. YOU WILL SEE IT RISE TO OVER 4000, CLOSE TO 4100, THEN IT WILL DROP OVER A PERIOD OF TIME TO 2800. THEN THOSE WE OWE MONEY TO WILL CALL FOR THEIR DEBT, BRAKING THE DOLLAR ALL THE WAY.

{Pan Note: About a month ago I read in the New York Daily News that some financial analyst had said that the stocks would reach 4100. I forgot his name, but my friend says he's well known. What took me was the number, 4100. The exact number listed above!}

Green Fireball Sightings Perplex Military

A number of sightings described as Green Fireballs were reported in the skies of the southwestern United States, particularly New Mexico, beginning in late 1948. Such sightings worried some in the government, who noted that the reports were often made near sensitive research and military installations, such as Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratory. The strange green balls of light reportedly appeared suddenly and were reported many times per month near such New Mexico installations but hardly anywhere else.

Investigators Look Into Situation

Meteor expert Lincoln La Paz headed much of the investigation into the fireballs. His conclusion was that the objects were artificial perhaps secret Russian spy devices. The green fireballs were seen by so many people of high repute, including LaPaz and scientists at Los Alamos, that everybody agreed they were a real phenomenon. Secret conferences were convened at Los Alamos to study the phenomenon and in Washington by the Air Force Scientific Advisory Board.

Project Twinkle Comes Into Being

In December 1949 Project Twinkle, a network of green fireball observation and photographic stations, was established but never fully implemented. It was discontinued two years later, with the official conclusion that the phenomenon was probably natural in origin, a hypothesis disputed by LaPaz and others.

Setting Groundwork

Early in 1950 the Geophysics Research Division received a directive to investigate peculiar light phenomena that had been observed in the skies of the southwestern United States. Project Twinkle was established to check into these phenomena and their explanation.

The gist of the findings is essentially negative. The period of observations covers a little over a year. Some unusual phenomena were observed during that period, most of them can be attributed to such man-made objects as airplanes, balloons, rockets, etc. Others can be attributed to natural phenomena such as flying birds, small clouds and meteorites.

There has been no indication that even the somewhat strange observations often called Green Fireballs are anything but natural phenomena. Our recommendations are in essence that there is no use in sinking any more funds into this at the present time and that we will keep in connection with one of our meteor studies a sharp eye on anything unusual along this line.

Background

In accordance with instructions contained in a classified letter from Chief of Staff, USAF to CG, AMC, subject "Light Phenomena", on 14 September 1949, Lt. Col. Frederic C.E. Oder of CRD attended a conference at Los Alamos, 14 October 19449 on the subject of "Green Fireballs" observed in the Northern New Mexico area. Since the phenomena had been observed only in this area and only since 1947, it had caused considerable concern among security agencies in the area.

It was the conclusion of the scientists present at this meeting that the information available was not sufficiently quantitative Instrumental observations - photographic, triangulation, and spectroscopic were considered essential.

Dr. L. La Paz of the Department of Meteoritics of Univ. of New Mexico was present at the Los Alamos meeting and subsequently was invited to submit proposals for studying this phenomena under GRD sponsorship. On 2 February 1950, Dr. La Paz advised that due to difficulties with academic arrangements, he was unable to undertake this study.

During February 1950, the frequent reports of unexplained aerial phenomena in the vicinity of Holloman Air Force Base and Vaughn, New Mexico prompted the Commanding Officer of Holloman Air Force Base to initiate a program to gather factual data. These data then would be used to demonstrate the need for initiating a study of the phenomena.

On 21 February 1950, an observation outlook post was set up at Holloman Air Force Base manned by two personnel. Observations with theodolight, telescope and camera were undertaken between the hours of sunrise and sunset.

On 5 March 1950 a conference was held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base which included Holloman Air Force Base and GRD personnel. Action was taken to initiate a three point program which was confirmed by AMC in the form of a letter directive on 16 March 1950, subject "Light Phenomena".

b. Observations with Mitchell camera using spectrum grating by Holloman Air Force Base personnel.
c. Electromagnetic frequency measurements using Signal Corps Engineering Laboratory equipment.

Under contract to GRD, Land-Air Inc. was required to maintain constant watch at two Askania stations for a six-month period. Since an abnormal number of reports had been received from Vaughn, New Mexico, it was decided to install the instrumentation at Vaughn.

1950 Contract Period April 1 To April 15

Some photographic activity occurred on 27 April and 24 May, but simultaneous sightings by both cameras were not made, so that no information was gained.

On 30 August 1950, during a Bell aircraft missile launching, aerial phenomena were observed over Holloman Air Force Base by several individuals; however, neither Land-Air nor Project personnel were notified and, therefore, no results were acquired. On 31 August 1950, the phenomena were again observed after a V-2 launching. Although much film was expended, proper triangulation was not effected, so that again no information was acquired.

On 11 September, arrangements were made by Holloman AFB for. Major. Gover, Commander 93rd Fighter Squadron at Kirtland AFB, to be on call so that aerial objects might be pursued. This would make possible more intimate visual observation and photography at close range. Major Gover was not authorized to shoot at the phenomena.

Generally, the results of the six-month contractual period may be described as negative. Although the photographic theodolites functioned continuously, the grating cameras functioned very little, since the military personnel assigned to operate them had been withdrawn due to the needs concerned with the Korean situation.

The facilities for the electromagnetic frequency measurements that were to be provided by the Signal Corps Engineering Laboratories were not utilized due to the fact that the frequency of occurrence of these phenomena did not justify the $50,000 a year transfer of funds to the Signal Corps which would be required to carry out such a monitoring facility.

However, the phenomena activity over Hlloman AFB 150 miles south of Vaughn, N. Mexico during the latter part of August 1950 was considered sufficiently significant so that the contract with Land-Air (Askania cameras only) was extended for six months ending 31 March 1951.

1950-1951 Contract Period October To March

Because of the continuation of phenomena activity in the vicinity of Vaughn and the resumption of activity near HAFB, the Askania cameras again were overhauled and installed at HAFB. This installation was completed about 5 November 1950.

On 16 October 1950, arrangements were made by Lt. Albert of HAFB that Northrup Aircraft pilots engaged in frequent flying of B-45 and QF-80 aircraft in the Holloman vicinity would report all observations of aerial phenomena. During this period, occasional reports were received of individuals seeing strange aerial phenomena, but these reports were sketchy, inconclusive, and were considered to be of no scientific value. No sightings were made by the Askania cameras.

Nothing whatsoever was reported by the Northrup pilots. Popular interest seemed abated, at least in the southwest. On 31 March 1951, due to the expiration of the contract, Land-Air ceased constant vigilance at the two Askania stations. In summary, the results during this period were negative.

Post Contract Inquiry

In view of the unproductive nature of the contract with Land-Air, it was decided to make further inquiry concerning recent aerial object developments in New Mexico. On 9 August 1951, the situation was discussed with Lt. Col. Cox of the 17th OSI District (Kirtland AFB). Until 15 March 1950 the District had been diligent in forwarding copies of their reports on aerial object phenomena.

Since then, no reports have been received by the Geophysics Research division. Colonel Cox advised that reports of strange aerial phenomena were still received by the 17th OSI office, at the rate of once or twice a month but little attention was being given to this matter. Most of the reports originated from personnel at Los Alamos.

The OSI files were reviewed. (A summary covering recent reports is attached.) It was learned that representatives from LIFE and also from ARGOSY were interested in publishing articles on aerial object phenomena. On 27 August 1951, developments concerning aerial phenomena were discussed at Holloman AFB. Lt. John Albert previously associated with the project had now been transferred from Holloman.

Therefore, the project was discussed with Major Edward A. Doty who had assumed responsibility. Major Doty, who seemed to be thoroughly acquainted with the situation, advised that there have been very few reports of aerial phenomena in the vicinity of Holloman since September 1950. The populace around HAFB seem to have lost their sensitivity as observers. Even during the meteor shower of 11-12 August 1951, no alarming reports were received.

However, on 14 March 1951, nine Bell personnel reported sighting between fourteen and twenty bodies "not unlike a flock of geese". On 9 July a "red glowing ball" was sighted by a sergeant stationed at the Corona Experimental Radar Site at Corona, New Mexico. (Copies of both reports are attached). More recently, a pilot reported some aerial objects which, after investigation, were identified as planets.

Mr. B. Guildenberg, who is an assistant to Major Doty and an active amateur astronomer, commented that he has been spending several hours at his telescope almost every night for the past few years and never once observed an unexplainable object; that on one occasion, an excited acquaintance was pacified when a "strange object" showed up as an eagle in the telescope; that Clyde Tombaugh, discoverer of the planet Pluto and now engaged in activities at White Sands, never observed an unexplainable aerial object despite his continuous and extensive observations of the sky; that Fred Whipple in his work photographing meteors at Las Cruces, never detected a strange aerial object with his Schmidt cameras; and that the A and M College at Las Cruces engages in astronomical observations but had never observed strange aerial phenomena.

It was learned from Major Doty, that Col. Baynes, C. O. at HAFB, no longer felt there was any justification for the allocation of funds for maintaining systematic investigation. Rather, he provided that the project be maintained on a standby basis and without official Air Force status.

This entails assignment of an officer (Major Doty) to collect incoming reports, make periodic review of the files "for patterns or persistent characteristics in the reports", maintain liaison with OSI, Provost Marshall's Office and any other agencies whose activities may serve to provide information concerning future aerial phenomena developments. Land-Air has agreed to report and if possible photograph any abnormal sightings made during their scheduled periods of operation (about eight hours each day).

The weather station will function similarly. Also, all pilots have been briefed to report any unusual observations. If necessary, the project can be activated very quickly, even to the extent where funds will be made available, for the purchase of equipment. Major Doty also arranged a conference with Mr. Warren Kott, who is in charge of Land-Air operations.

Mr. Kott pointed out that a formal report covering the year's vigilance period had not been issued since the contract contained no such provision. Actually, a time correlation study should be made covering the film and verbal recordings at both Askania stations. This would assure that these records did not contain significant material. However, such a study is quite laborious, and would require about thirty man days to complete.

Again, no provisions are contained in the contract for this study, but Mr. Kott felt that this could be done by Land-Air at the additional expense in the near future when the work load diminished. Mr. Kott requested formal authorization to do this and Major Doty agreed to issue this letter of authorization.

It was arranged further that at such time when the study is completed all photographic and tape-recordings would be sent to the Geophysics Research Division. Prior to departing HAFB, the project files were reviewed. Major Doty advised that access to the files had not been requested by any periodicals.

On 28 August 1951, the subject was discussed informally with Dr. Lincoln La Paz, who expressed disbelief in all aerial phenomena except for the green fire-balls. The red fire-ball occasionally reported he believed was the visual after-effect of the green. Their recent origin (1947) and peculiar trajectories did not permit, according to Dr. La Paz, them to be classed as natural phenomena.

The most recent that has come to his attention occurred over Detroit on 7 July 1951. It crossed the city from Northwest to Southeast with a sharply descending trajectory which leveled out and was observed by many residents of the city. Dr. La Paz expressed the opinion that the fireballs may be of our own military origin, but if not, they are a matter of serious concern.

Conclusions

Undoubtedly, a good many of the observations reported are attributable to ordinary man-made objects such as airplanes, balloons, smoke rockets, etc. It appears that balloon observations especially are responsible for a large number or the reports. The possibility of small emissive clouds issuing from atomic installations also has been proposed. Many of the sightings are attributable to natural phenomena such as flight of birds, planets, meteors, and possibly cloudiness.

Dr. Fred L. Whipple of Harvard, in a memorandum to this laboratory dated 9 August 1950 relative to this problem, indicated that he had observed a tendency for the occurrence of small detached clouds in New Mexico which might have been mistaken for an aerial object when illuminated by the reflected light of the moon. Dr. Whipple investigated the possibility of a correlation between the frequency of aerial phenomena observations and weather conditions -- specifically cloudiness.

A rough analysis of available weather data, indicated that on the 53 nights (between 5 December 1948 and 5 March 1951) when observations were reported, 10 were clear, 24 partially cloudy, 5 completely overcast and 14 had no record. The number of cloudy nights involved seems unusually high for New Mexico.

The weather reports were for the Las Cruces Area only whereas many of the observations were a considerable distance from Las Cruces. Further investigation is therefore necessary to determine correlations with cloudiness. Dr. Whipple also conducted a study as to whether the age of the moon was related to the frequency of aerial phenomena observations. The results did not indicate that the phenomena were observed largely at full moon.

The statistics show that of the 72 observations reported, 45 occurred when the moon was up and 27 when it was down with many of the observations occurring at the time of the moon's first quarter. From the statistical study, Dr. Whipple suggests that the existence of moonlight is correlated with the phenomena. Dr. Whipple's frequency diagram of observations vs. age of moon is included in this report.

It should be noted that Dr. Whipple made a careful study of meteor photographs taken in New Mexico on 35 nights when observations were reported. None of the photographs revealed the presence of unusual sky phenomena. Finally, the overall picture obtained from the year of vigilance and inquiry does not permit a conclusive opinion concerning the aerial phenomena of interest.

The comparatively high incidence of the phenomena since 1948 does not necessarily indicate that the objects are man-made. It is conceivable that the earth may be passing through a region in space of high meteoric population. Also, the sun-spot maxima in 1948 perhaps in some way may be a contributing factor.

Recommendations

Since the findings to date cannot be considered conclusive, it appears that the following recommendations would be pertinent:

(1) No further fiscal expenditure be made in pursuing the problem. This opinion is prompted partly by the fruitless expenditure during the past year, the uncertainty of existence of unexplainable aerial objects, and by the inactive position currently taken by Holloman AFB as indicated by the "stand-by status" of the project. The arrangements by HAFB for continued vigilance by Land-Air, the weather station as well as the briefing of pilots on the problem in part relieves the need for a systematic instrumentation program.

(2) Within the next few months, Dr. Whipple will have completed the installation of two 18-inch Schmidt cameras for meteor studies. The cameras will be stationed about 20 miles apart in the vicinity of Las Cruces, New Mexico. Since these studies will be sponsored by the GRD, arrangements can be made for examining the film for evidence of aerial object phenomena.

Witness, Antonio Nelso Tasca of Garibaldi, Brazil, is introduced variously as a farmer, gaucho, former radio-broadcaster, building restoration worker, scientific assessor of the Chamber of the High Patrol, well known and well considered personality of Chapeco in the state of Santa Catarina, 48 years old at the time of the event. On December 14, 1983 at 8:00 p.m. in the night, he was driving alone his Brasilia model 81 car from the village of Colonia Cella in the state of Brasilia in direction of the town of Chapeco in the state of Santa Catarina.

Unearthly Force Manifests Itself

At a certain point, being 11 kilometers from the home of his son Maximino Tasca he was traveling to, and little before arriving at the turnpike that gives access to the Tozzo Farm Estate, he says, he was urged by a "strange force" or an "inner command" to enter a dirt track.

Mental Command Directs Witness Off Roadway

He thus left the road going to the BR-282 highway and entered this dirt track. After a few meters in the dirt track, he soon saw an object ahead, that he initially thought to be a bus, as, he says, it had the white-greenish colors of the bus of the local line. It was rectangular, with small windows around. He soon realized that this object of ashy color was hovering about one meter above the ground and had no wheels.

Approach Of Object May Not Have Been Wisest Course To Take

He stopped the car, turned off the headlight, stepped out, locked the doors and walked 10 meters in the direction of the strange object. The rectangular windows were laid out in a row that had a light curve at the ends of the object. At a distance of few meters, Tasca felt heat waves and decided to go back to the car.

Encounter Takes Truly Bizarre Turn

But when he put his hand in his pocket to take out his key, a carpet of white-red light, roughly one meter broad, left from the lower part of the object, and went in the direction of his feet. This carpet took him in the direction of the object, but he never remembered what occurred starting from a few meters of the ship, how he entered there and what occurred in the following minutes.

Clinical Type Environment

He nevertheless remembered to have opened his eyes and to perceive that he was lying in a completely obscure and rather cold environment, unable to move, except for the feet, which he could press against something solid and cold. As time passed, the cold increased and its breathing decreased. Seized by panic, he thought that he had been buried alive and hopelessly shouted for help.

After some time the temperature and his breathing became normal again. He then heard noises of footsteps, which he thought came from three to four light and small people. They remained at its side, and he perceived that one of these people, on his right, started to poke at the articulation of his body, and that it was repeated on his left side, Tasca thinking that these pressures were made with the tip of some object. He heard growls, which increased between the beings, as if they spoke between them. Then, three beings carried him towards what he thought to be another room.

They left him lying on a plan and they retired. A light was turned on and he instinctively closed the eyes. When he managed to open them, he saw that the environment was completely illuminated, but that there was not the least kind of source of light, neither shades or lines which would have indicated edges, doors, windows or any other detail of the walls.

Beautiful Woman Appears

When he turned to the right, he noticed that his clothes was folded and that his socks were on top of his shoes. He got dressed and, moving towards one of the walls, passed a finger on the surface and noticed that it was neither cold nor hot, only smooth. On his right was as a door in the shape of an ogive giving the impression that some energy crossed the wall in the direction right to left. Through this door, a woman of a strange beauty appeared, who reminded him of the actress Bruna Lombardi to him.

Of a small size of 1.20 meters, she had smooth hair which fell on her shoulders, of straw color, she had slanted blue eyes, distant from the base of the nose. She carried an indigo blue clothing, which went a little below the knee, with a belt of the same color comprising a lace with the front and, at the level of the bust, there was a species of "seam" in relief in form of a reversed "T". She had smooth and blue sandals, and no other kind of ornament.

She came in with the left hand on the chest and the other open, raised at the level of the head, and initiated a telepathic communication. She said without moving her lips, "Stay calm, I am of peace and love." At this time, Tasca heard some sort of melodic music, reminding a bit of violins, that lasted roughly ten seconds. "I am Cabala, messenger of the world of Agali. I come in a mission of peace and love." He asked her where they were and she answered that they were in the flying saucer, under the ocean, 180 meters below sea level. As he was naked and was disturbed by her presence, the woman calmed him by saying that he was going to drink and that all would be fine.

Unusual Liquid Has Otherwordly Quality

She him gave what seemed to be a metallic tube, that she took from a sort of rack with red buttons, and contained a liquid that Tasca felt had neither taste nor odor. When swallowing it, he did not feel the liquid to go down by the oesophagus. Cabala took the tubes and positioned them back. She turned in the direction of the other wall, where a kind of sofa has now appeared.

Female Makes Her Carnal Intentions Clear

By taking off her clothes, she clearly made Tasca understand that she desired to make the love with him. In spite of the situation, he succeeded getting aroused and undertook a sexual intercourse with her. Tasca specifies that she did not show signs a pleasure during the sex.

Sexual Interaction Was Far From Spectacuar

The intercourse consumed, she moved away, put on her clothes, and transmitted the message: "We have both been chosen." She specified that they were going to have two sons from their union, who will be named Mada and Madana. Tasca asked her whether he would be brought back and received an affirmative answer, but he actually would be brought back far from the place where he had been taken.

Witness Questions Why He Was Chosen

He then asked why he was chosen since he did not think he was anything special, and he ensures she told him he had been selected because he believed in her existence, that she had desired this moment, and because he was gifted of the cosmic spirit. Then Cabala stated that he would carry message for the people of the Earth. He was surprised this choice, because he knew he did not have a very good memory.

Brazilian Presented Message He Must Not Forget

She moved again towards the rack and took some sort of diadem, or tiara, formed of a series of half-circles in green, yellow and red colors. On each half-circle, there was a 3 centimeters device roughly in the shape of a cross. She put this diadem on his head, telling him that he must repeat the message twice and then he would not forget it. He then recited the 438 words message which, in short, spoke about the need for deactivation of nuclear weapons and announced the beginning of a new era for mankind, which was to get ready by finding the solution of the enigmas of the world and starting various ecological projects.

Contactee Forebodings Has Been Heard Before

The message is rich in the blatant naive absurdities in so many alleged "contactees" messages, for example, it say that in case of a total nuclear war, the Earth would be thrown out of its celestial course, and who would influence other dimensions and parallel worlds linked to the Earth and currently ignored by mankind. The message predicts strange telluric demonstrations and celestial signs of magnificent splendor and worrying beauty; all that did not occur so far. Some "Masters of the Wisdom of Suma" are predicted to return to a renewed Earth, and mankind would then live happily, without aging and with the power to resuscitate the dead.

Interaction With Unknown Finally Comes To An End

Then, she withdrew the diadem and kept it. She came out by the same door, which was closed again. The light turned off and Tasca felt the presence of same beings as before, who drew on his shirt and grunted to make him understand he should lie down. He perceived that the beings went away, and he fainted. When he opened the eyes again, he was lying in the ground on a slope, and from the height of the Sun, he calculated that it was approximately six o'clock in the morning.

Witness Returns To Normal World Of Reality

He heard the noises of cars, which indicated a nearby road. Still feeling numb, he remembered the experience that had occurred, the message of Cabala, and felt happy to be back on the Earth. He stayed there some time, and noticed that its clock was blocked at 10:05. He stood up, took some steps, saw the Diesel Electrotype Batistella plant. He now knew that he was roughly 11 kilometers from home and after several attempts, he managed to call his relatives.

Relatives Respond To Tale

All were relieved to know that he was well. He decided to return by foot and, on the way, was recovered by his son who was looking for him in San Carlos, a city close to Chapeco. Being given his psychological state, he was taken along to a First Aid center where he was taken care of by Doctor Júlio Zawadzki, who prescribed him sedatives. This doctor asked him whether he had some physical damage and as the answer was in the negative, he went back to the house of his son-in-law where all his relatives awaited his return with emotion.

Effort To Clean Up Reveals Apparent Physical Evidence Of Encounter

At 01:00 p.m., he decided to take a bath. When he removed his shirt, his parents indicated with surprised a mark on his ribs, which seemed to be a burn produced by a heated iron, and they found strange marks on his backbone, between the scapulas. The same day, he went back to the First Aid center to see Doctor Júlio Zawadzki, who observed the wounds. Surprised, the doctor revealed that he never saw anything like it.

Wounds Undergo Even More Scrutiny

The next day, Tasca turned over to the consulting-room, where were two other doctors, Doctor Madalozzo and Carlos Reis, who thoroughly analyzed his wounds. They carried out several examinations and pressed their fingers on the wounds. They were puzzled that Tasca did not show any kind of pain when they touched the wounds.

Illness Apparent After Effect Of Experience

The three following days, he did not feel any hunger and practically ate nothing. On Sunday, at 2 o'clock in the morning, he felt bad and vomited. He could feel a white blackberry taste, corresponding exactly to the contents of the second tube which he had drunk in the presence of Cabala. From this day on, his appetite was back to normal.

Witness Not Shy About Relating Tale Of Event

Tasca very quickly gave many interviews to the newspapers, radios, televisions, and wrote a book, "A man marked by the Extraterrestrials", telling of his adventure; he is regularly a guest in the ufology conferences of the country.

Brazilian Undergoes Hypnosis

He was subjected to hypnotic regression sessions "by researchers in quest of the observation of the veracity of his really astonishing case." He believes that he was predestined by the extraterrestrial, and that he thus had since childhood, visions of probes, unidentified objects and extraordinary phenomena. Numerous ufologists have investigated his claims, starting by Dr. Walter Büller of SBEDV (Brazilian Society for the Study of the Flying Discs) of Rio de Janeiro.

Unusual Magnetic Readings Puzzle Investigators

Büller, with a magnetometer, observed evidence of strong magnetism in the loop of Tasca's belt, in the bumper of his Brasilia car, exactly at the side exposed to the object. The anomaly was also detected in the neutral power cable of a pole near the spot of the encounter.

Several Perplexing Points To Consider

Tasca was a guest at the The First World UFO Forum, organized by A. J. Gevaerd, from Brazilian UFO Magazine in December 1997. The "W" mark was still visible in 1992. The witness is single; the marks on his body which he indicates to have been examined by three doctors should have been recorded in writing, which would have been easy to obtain. The magnetic anomalies mentioned by Walter Büller cannot be convincing enough as they are too easy to create for anyone having access to radio equipment such as a bulk eraser. It is probably not necessary to point out that the story resembles that of Antonio Villas Boas in the same country decades earlier and numerous such accounts of alleged contacts with aliens bringing a message to humanity with a content very much sounding as a rather human mythology.

That has happened once again in the case of ridiculed contactee Billy Meier who has been denounced as a hoaxster by skeptics since he went public with his sincere but controversial claims. I tip my cap to Michael Horn for setting the record straight. Thanks again Michael. The illuminating words appear below:

You are about to be presented with, and perhaps even confronted by, clear and incontrovertible proof that the UFO photo and film evidence in the Meier case is authentic, unfalsified and irreproducible with the technology known to have been available to Billy Meier at the time that he presented his 35mm photographic, 8mm film and other physical evidence.

It is also still irreproducible today, even with the best digital effects. Whether you are a sophisticated photographic and visual/special effects expert, or simply a layman, the use of common sense alone will be sufficient for you to understand the authenticity, and importance, of the evidence that you will see. And, as already suggested, an honest application of technological expertise will reveal, and result in, the same findings.

Skeptical Argument

The skeptical argument against Billy Meier's stunningly clear, "too good to be true", UFO photographs, films and video has been that Meier used model UFOs and also model, or miniature, trees to create his evidence. This was the original claim made by CFI-West/IIG, in 2001 when they accepted my challenge to duplicate just one of Meier's UFO photos and one of his films.

Naturally, that is a challenge they have never been able to meet.
Their claims that Meier used such models to create what they referred to as "an esily duplicated hoax" were presented by their current lead investigator, Derek Bartholomaus, in his carefully scripted presentation in the Special Features section of our film.

Subsequent to the release of the film, Mr. Bartholomaus was forced to retract his foundational claims regarding models, since he was completely unable (despite years of preparation) to produce any evidence for them, without so much as one photogrpah of a comparable model tree to support his assertions.

Further, his attempt to get Academy Award-winning Uncharted Territory to retract their statement regarding the virtual impossiblity that Meier used model UFOs was not only rebuffed, they clearly restated their same evaluation. So frustrated was Mr. Bartholomaus, when other examples of his incompetence and false claimes were revealed, that he then took to falsifying emails from me to try to distract from the implosion of his own demolished credibility.

Final Attempt

The last individual to try to debunk Meier's photographic evidence tried to duplicate the photos and film/video with small models, predictably unimpressive as they are. But at least he tried. In his final attempt debunking and duplicating Meier's evidence.

You'll notice that the last photo shows a man standing next to a tree, which we say is the same tree in Meier's photo. In Meier's photo the tree is barren-branched, since the photographs were taken as winter was ending, in 1976. I should also point out that the photo is one of 34 in the Hasenböl series, which also includes stunningly clear photos of the UFO in earlier daylight hours, several of which can be seen.

A small being wearing a diving suit, with large head in comparison to the body, two enormous eyes, such is the description that Mr. Olivier gave Wednesday evening in Toulouse, of a mysterious character descended from a spherical machine which had been just landed at 07:30 P.M., on a vacant site.

Mr. Olivier, owner of Establishments Javel Neto, rue des Fontaines, in Toulouse, was accompanied by an employee, Mr. Perano, and of a young boy aged about fifteen years. All three saw the luminous craft land, it had a spherical shape and a reddish color.

Then, they saw the character whose diving-suit according to the witnesses statement shone like glass, come towards them. Thereafter, Mr. Olivier drew the diving suit equipped being in an impressive manner, with chalk, on a door. "I did not believe in it, added Mr. Perano, but I saw it as I see you. That was quite a shock."

After a very short time, approximately a minute, the diver regained the luminous sphere which flew away vertically, without noise, and disappeared in the sky at an extraordinary speed leaving a trail of fire.

Because of the night, no observation could be done at the place where the machine is said to have landed.

Oily traces were noted Thursday morning in several place of a vacant site located in a suburb of Toulouse.

According to declarations of the three witnesses, the mysterious craft, piloted by a character wearing a diving suite had landed on this location yesterday at 07:35 P.M.

The Air Police Force interrogated these three people, among whom figure an industrialist, they maintained their statement, specifying that the mysterious individual measured approximately 1 m 20, exceeded the machine with his head and had, consequently, to bend to penetrate there.

One of the witnesses insisted that the saucer was surrounded by iridescent reflections and emitted a light fog around it. He added that having wanted to get closer, he had been retained at about 20 meters of it by a paralysing force and that, when the craft rose in the sky, he had been violently thrown to ground.

Carroll Watts Discloses Reason Behind False Hoax Confession

The nightmare began for Carroll Watts of Wellington, Texas near Waco on February 8, 1967. A series of bizarre unexplained UFO events led to a false hoax confession from the beleagured witness. Carroll Watts UFO Case Truly Intriguing One

Did Watts see what he said he saw? Was his confessed hoax actually a hoax in its own right? Was the contactee caught up in something over his head? All indications point to affirmative responses to all questions. The Texas cotton farmer knew nothing about UFOs. His initial thought upon obsrvance of strange craft were that they were government vehicles. Wrong!

Photographic Evidence Willfully Destroyed

A craft also appeared later. The Texan managed to snap seven Polaroid photographs. Watts went to the wrong place when he contacted the University of Colorado which was involved in the UFO study (whitewash) headed by Edward Condom, uh, Condon. Condom and cronies misplaced (destroyed) the original Polaroid photos. Good old Condom actually advised Watts to remain quiet about his experiences. Some scientific study!

Publicity Results In Problems For Watts Family

When Watts went public he became a national sensation. With the celebrity came threats for him to remain silent. All conspiracies require silence. Plenty of it! The contactee was even invited to take a polygraph examination which he failed after a terrifying incident on his way to the test which included being menaced by a machine gun. Watts was ordered to flunk the polygraph examination. He understandably complied!

Watts Attacked In His Home

A vehicle like one associated with nefarious Men In Black motored past the Watts residence later. Shots were fired but no one was hurt. Watts, to his eternal credit, attempted to return fire but scored no hits with his carbine. The incident justifiably terrorized his wife. The shooting incident was reported to authorities. Watts Concedes Entire Affair A Hoax

It was at this point that the contactee explained to everyone within listening distance that everything was a hoax. A person close to Watts claimed he was influenced by a mysterious stranger. Paranoia then apparently set in. Being paranoid does not mean that THEY are not actually out to get you!

Watts ended his life as a broken man. He believed all his life that his problems stemmed from his UFO encounter. An apparently confused Watts wound up behind bars. He proclaimed that the incident cost him his wife, children, finances, freedom and health. Watts was involved in something he did not understand then went public.
