On November 11, 1987 Ed Walters, a prosperous builder-contractor in the exclusive Community of Gulf Breeze, Florida saw a peculiar light shining through a tall pine tree in his front yard.
He could see that the glow was unusual -- quite different from any of the commonplace planes and helicopters from the nearby naval air station that frequently populated the skies of Gulf Breeze.
He stepped outside and saw a bluish gray craft like none he had ever seen before.
It was intensely quiet, and Ed was intensely frightened.
He rushed back into the house and grabbed the old Polaroid camera that was a a part of his work gear as a builder.
And he took photos. The sightings continued and were shared by his wife and family.
Ed's photos were published -- anonymously -- in the local weekly newspaper, and the sightings were corroborated by hundreds of residents in the Gulf Breeze area -- residents in the Gulf breeze area -- priests, politicians, judges, policemen, soldeirs, ordinary middle clas citizens. Today Gulf Breeze, in Florida, is known as one of the worlds top UFO hot spots.
Sightings are being made and UFOs photographed and videoed all the time.

On the 11th of November 1987 Ed was working in his home office when he noticed a light moving outside, partially obscured by the pine tree in his yard.
To get a better look Ed went out of the front door, and could see that the light was in fact a glowing bluish-gray craft like none he had seen before. Ed rushed back into his office to grab his Polaroid camera which he used on job sights and stepped out onto the porch again.
As the craft came from behind the tree he took his first photo.
He watched for a moment and then, "Bang! Something hit me. All over my body, I tried to lift my arms, I couldn't move them. They were blue, I was blue, everything was blue. I was in a blue light beam. I was trying to breathe but my chest wouldn't expand. My feet lifted off the floor, a voice groaned in my head, " We will not harm you." I screamed, the voice said "Calm down." I screamed "Put me down!" No control, just a piecing smell, a little scent of ammonia mixed with heavy cinnamon that scorched, the stuck to, the back of my throat. A hum filled my head. Wham! I hit the ground, the blue light was gone. The hum was still in my head but quickly decreased and was gone." On November the 20th the hum returned, and with it Ed could hear voices, as if he was listening in on a conversation.
He went out side and saw a small speck of light falling at great speed.
He took photo 6 as the UFO suddenly dropped its fall and hung in the sky.
This photo has been light blasted and enhanced in this version. It is this hum which Ed hears when ever the UFO comes close that has enabled him to photograph it so many times. On the 2nd of December Ed's house was visited again.
At about 3.30 am Ed was awakened by the sound of his dog barking just once.
He went to investigate and on opening the blinds on his French doors he was confronted by a four foot tall creature with big black eyes.
Ed screamed and fell backwards, the creature looked at him for a moment the walked away. "I gave chase. As my feet left the shelter of the back porch I was hit by the blue beam and held immobile while the creature fled into the vacant field at the back of my house. As soon as I could move I retrieved my camera and took this picture of the UFO shooting the blue beam into the field. I believe that it was picking up the creature I had seen." Just before sunrise on December 5th, this UFO hovered above the tree line near the high school about a block from Ed's house.
"The UFO moved towards me, I heard the voice say 'Do not resist...Zehaas.'" This is just a small introduction to the story of Ed and the UFO.
He would go on to photograph it many times, with his polaroid, a special four lens sealed camera given to him by MUFON, a stereo Polaroid which allowed the UFO to be ranged and a video camera.
"I want to tell you about a fact, which was repeated and told to us that in the universe may be another civilized planet. That happened in 1989 on 4th of July at the 9:30 p.m. In the Ortachala (place in Tbilisi, Georgia) I took a girl I knew and drove her home. At the Davitashvili Street near the restaurant "Samadlo" I saw that the water in the engine was boiling. I stopped the car and went to get water.
"When I came back the girl wasn't in the car. I don't remember if I filled the radiator or not. I turned on the car and drove ahead onto the "Mtacminda" park. As a rule I drive that way home. In the "Mtacminda" road I saw a woman, which was trying to stop my car. I can't decide to stop or not and after driving 15 meters further I looked back in the mirror and the woman wasn't there. "I continued on my way. I stopped the car near "Mtacminda" park and went into restaurant to see my friend but he wasn't there. On that day I didn't have any plan to see him. After 500 meter, when I drive back, my car engine suddenly stopped. I don't remember my car ever doing this since I have had it. I got out from car and rolled it back. At that time I felt that some kind of invisible field was operating on me and was taking me somewhere.
"The road was dark. I was walking approximately 200 meter, when I saw a "Flying Saucer". It was standing to the left of me and has three legs. All around it were colored lights. At the bottom were stairs and illuminated windows. From the "Saucer" 15-20 meters away were standing four figures. They were 2.5 – 3 meters in height. I wasn't scared, maybe because that hypnosis like force, which was taking me to that place, kept me from being scared.
"They also were not afraid when they saw me. One of them came close to me and tried to establish contact. I was trying to understand. First he was talking in this strange language. Next he started talking in Russian. He asked how old am I? I answered. Next he told me that they aren't the first here and they will come again. He told me - we come when it is a necessity. He said that we are undeveloped and that we have simple primitive technology. "Next I felt behind me a warm, I turned and saw that one of them was measuring my height. Talking to only one of them. I put my hand on my watch and gave a sign that it was late and I am in a hurry. He asked - do you have a phone at home. I answered, I have, but how can I call from here: He went into "Saucer", walked up gangway where the light was coming from.
"When he came back he held a strange apparatus. The device was lit up with different colored lights and strange signs - which was like hieroglyphs. I understand, that it was a phone and I dialed my home number. The voice that was coming from the apparatus and light, which lit up from the voice, understood me, that nobody was taking my phone call at home.
"Then he took the apparatus back without speaking. Afterwards he came back and told, that they want to take us (I don't understand, what they mean "us"), that they want to help that they aren't coming with a bad intention. I asked, what if I come with you, will you bring me back.
"He doesn't answer because on the small transmitter (In my mind, it was transmitter, all four had it on their breasts) was a lighted red colored bulb and I heard a low siren like voice. When he heard that signal he went into the "Saucer" and took me with him. Inside the saucer I saw TV-like apparatus. I saw all of my body. The picture was color and clearer than on an X-ray set. I saw how my heart worked, my stomach and other organs. At that time my interrogator came back. He told me that I was free and I can go home.
"I said my car isn't working. He calmed me and said don't worry, car will be OK. I came back and sat in the car I saw how UFO pushes stairs in and lift into the air. Approximately at 60 meters altitude it reduced speed and turned on its side and climbed into the air. I heard a low humming sound.
"The car started and I went to home. On 11 July at same place I saw a black spilled liquid, which has oil smell. I want to tell you that the liquid on the third day wasn't there. Consequently after our meeting they were there once more at the same spot and they stayed that time:"
One of the most bizarre accounts of UFO folklore involves an incident that allegedly occurred in Voronezh, Russia.
This case was reported in the United States by the St. Louis Dispatch.
The story was originally published on October 11, 1989, in America, but its origin was the Russian newspaper TASS. The report recounts the adventures of several young children who claimed to have seen a three-eyed alien with a robot escort.
The alien was said to be about nine foot tall.
The craft, according to eye witness testimony, landed on the outskirts of the city.
Shortly thereafter, the tall alien appeared, and upon seeing the young lad, shot a type of weapon at him, causing him to vanish before the eyes of the other people around him. There are several important elements one must keep in mind regarding this extremely strange case of a close encounter.
The original details of the case were brought forward by Genrikh Silanov, head of the Voronezh Geophysical Laboratory, who gave details to the TASS agency.
Silanov stated that the media took an enormous amount of creative freedom with his report. "Don't believe all you hear from Tass," he stated." We never gave them part of what they published." I take this statement to mean that only a part of the news agency's report was based on the facts obtained from Silanov. The agency had informed the entire world that Russian scientists had confirmed that an alien spaceship carrying giants with tiny heads had landed in Voronezh, a city of over 800,000 people located about 300 miles southeast of Moscow.
They stated that as many as three of these giant creatures had emerged from the alien ship.
The ship was described as a large, shining ball.
These strange creatures were said to have walked in a nearby park, accompanied by a menacing robot. Ironically, TASS was the only media member to print the story in Russia.
The newspaper Pravda declined to print, or comment on the strange tale. In defense of the TASS account, Soviet reporter Skaya Kultura said that the agency was following the ''the golden rule of journalism."
"The reader must know everything.'' The TASS account stated that the UFO landed in Voronezh on September 27, 1989, at 6:30 P.M.
Young boys playing soccer witnessed the event, stating that a pinkish glow preceded the descent of the unusual flying craft.
The pink glow became a deep red as it touched down.
Most witnesses described the object as a flattened, disc shape.
A crowd quickly gathered, and peered through a hatch that opened.
They saw a ''three-eyed alien'' about 10 feet tall, clad in silvery overalls and bronze-colored boots and wearing a disk on his chest. " The TASS account also stated: "A boy screamed with fear, but when the alien gazed at him, with eyes shining, he fell silent, unable to move. Onlookers screamed, and the UFO and the creatures disappeared." According to the report, about five minutes later, they reappeared.
The alien had an object similar to a pistol - a tube about 20 inches long, which it pointed at an unidentified 16-year-old boy, making him disappear.
The alien went inside the sphere, which then took off.
At the same time, the boy reappeared. "Children and eyewitnesses of the abnormal phenomenon have been questioned by police workers and journalists," wrote E. Efremov, the Voronezh correspondent for Soviet Skaya Kultura." "There are no discrepancies in the description of the sphere itself or the actions of the aliens. Moreover, all the children who became witnesses to this event are still afraid, even now." Several drawings were made by some of the children who supposedly witnessed the events of Voronezh.
A couple of these are included here.
One of the drawings showed the Cyrillic alphabet character "zhe" on the side of the UFO. TASS listed three witnesses' names, all of whom were youngsters.
They also stated that a group of international researchers would be investigating the claims of the witnesses. Voronezh residents interviewed later claimed they had observed this UFO not just during the above incident but also many times on September 21, 23, 29 and October 2, between 6 and 9 PM.
Some of these incidents involved a different entity: small, with grayish-green face and blue overcoat resembling a loose raincoat. This phenomenal account is still in need of more eye witness testimony and research.
The Voronezh landing remains an unsolved mystery.
On Friday September 16, 1994 at approximately 10:15, 62 children from Ariel School, a private primary school in Ruwa (about 20 km from Harare) were in their playing field for the mid-morning break.
Suddenly, they saw three silver balls in the sky over the school.
These disappeared with a flash of light and then reappeared elsewhere.
This happened three times and then they started to move down towards the school with one of them landing (or hovering) over a section of rough ground made up of trees, thorn bushes, and some brown-grey cut grass with bamboo shoots sticking up out of the ground.
The children are not allowed in this area although it is adjacent to their playing field and is not fenced off, because of snakes, spiders and perhaps other harmful creatures.
One can soon disappear from view while walking here, and there is only one very rough track used by tractors in an attempt to clear this area. There is a line of electricity pylons and according to one boy, the object followed along this line prior to landing.
There is also some controversy as to whether the object _landed_ on the ground or hovered above it.
On September 20 I went out to the school with a BBC reporter and their television equipment, as well as my son and Gunter Hofer, a young man who builds his own electrical equipment, viz, a Geiger counter, a metal detector and a magnetometer, to try and see if the object left any traces behind. The headmaster of the school is Mr. Colin Mackie, who was most co-operative, and although he had never been involved with UFOs or a believer in them, said that he believed the children had seen what they said they saw. I was able to interview about 10 or 12 older children and this was recorded for BBC television. One eyewitness, Barry D., said he had seen three objects flying over, with flashing red lights.
They disappeared, and reappeared almost immediately, but somewhere else.
This happened about three times.
Then they came and landed near some gum trees.
Barry said the main one (object) was about the size of his thumb nail held at arm's length.
The reports were similar although some children were more observant than others.
The consensus of opinion was that an object came down in the area where they indicated, about 100 metres from where they were at the edge of the school playing field.
Then a small man (approx 1 metre in height) appeared on top of the object.
He walked a little way across the rough ground, became aware of the children and disappeared.
He, or someone very like him, then reappeared at the back of the object.
The object took off very rapidly and disappeared.
The little man was dressed in a tight-fitting black suit which was 'shiny' according to one observant girl (11 years of age).
He had a long scrawny neck and huge eyes like rugby balls.
He had a pale face with long black hair coming below his shoulders. I had suggested to Mr. Mackie prior to visiting the school and before the children had been interviewed, that he let the children draw what they had seen and he now has about 30-40 drawings, some of which are very explicit and clear, although some are rather vague.
The children's' ages vary from 5/6 to 12 years.
I have 22 photocopies of the clearer drawings as Mr. Mackie kindly allowed me to page through the pictures and choose those I wanted.
Most of the descriptions are similar but some of the craft are very obviously 'flying saucers', and I wonder how many of these children have had access to the media.
Others are crude but more or less in this saucer shape. The children vary in cultures: there are black, white, coloured and Asian children.
One little girl said to me, 'I swear by every hair on my head and the whole Bible that I am telling the truth.'
I could see the pleasure on her face when I told her that I believed her.
The smaller children from 5-7 years were very frightened at the time and ran shouting 'Help me, help me.'
When the older children asked why they were saying this, the reply was, 'He is coming to eat us.'
I should think this applied more to the black African children who have legends of _tokoloshies_ eating children. Their teachers were in a meeting and did not come out.
When I queried the headmaster about this he said the children always shouted and yelled during their playtime and no-one thought there was anything unusual going on.
The only other adult available at the time was one of the mothers who was running the tuckshop.
When the children came to call her, she did not believe them and would not come out: she was not prepared to leave the tuckshop with all the food and money.
Gunter and the men thoroughly examined the ground around where the children had seen the object, but could get no reaction on the geiger counter or any other equipment.
If the object was hovering perhaps nothing would show. I walked, on my own, along the electricity pylons for quite a away, caught up in thorn bushes, trampling blithely over snake holes and discarding all caution.
I found no place where some object could have landed and pressed down the foliage.
In fact, I should think the bamboo stumps would have been a deterrent.
The day was hot, around 33 C (91F)... Dr John Mack was visiting Zimbabwe at the time of the event, and he spent two days at Ariel School with the children.
He also spoke to the Headmaster, Colin Mackie, the teachers and some of the parents.
John and his fellow researcher, Dominique Callimanopulos, were able to get through to the parents and teachers and convince them that even if they did not believe the children, it was counter-productive to accuse them of lying.
Listen and think about what they were saying, he advised.
His particular interest in child psychiatry was also of great use during the questioning and many former hidden memories came to light, something John is sure to make public when he has had a chance to reassess his interviewing. There is a lot more to this incident than has been uncovered.
The color video footage, which lasts for a total of two minutes and fifty-five seconds, was apparently smuggled out of the secret Groom Lake "Area 51" facility in Nevada by a man referring to himself as "Victor".
The video film depicts a Grey alien being interrogated at the government facility. The footage first came to light on the Art Bell radio show on 13th March, 1997 when ufologist Sean David Morton was interviewed.
Morton claimed the interrogation was fairly recent, sometime in 1996, and that renowned UFO expert Bob Dean apparently cried at the advanced screening of the film. After claiming to have smuggled the film out of the Groom Lake facility in Nevada, Victor resolved to have the footage broadcast on network television as soon as possible in order to publicly expose his claims.
Victor believes that if his identity is discovered and he is subsequently assassinated, this would only further help to confirm the claims and authenticity behind the film. Victor approached many television companies in his attempts to show the footage to the public.
He first approached Fox TV, who turned him down after the problems in authenticity they had when the Roswell autopsy footage was shown by them.
Fox felt they were being deceived for a second time.
Eventually, in July 1996, Victor found an independent production company in Los Angeles, California called Rocket Home Pictures Productions, who agreed to produce a documentary based around the interview.
Morton was brought in by Rocket's president, Tom Coleman, to give his views, thus being the first "outsider" to view the footage. Contents Of The Video After seeing the interview footage, Morton provides a chilling and detailed description of what he saw: "The film was shot through a large plane of glass. There was no sound accompanying the images. The interview took place in a darkened room, lit with an eerie greenish glow, I could make out the silhouettes of two men, one dressed in military uniform with what appeared to be the stars on the epaulet of his jacket, and another more casually dressed man with his hand occasionally rubbing his forehead.
"They sat with their backs to the camera at one end of a long table, which was littered with wires, chords and microphones. There were what appeared to be medical devices. One in particular was blinking erratically, as if it was monitoring a very sick heart. And there sitting at the end of the table was a small, beige-skinned, black-eyed, bulbous headed creature, the like of which haunt the nightmares of thousands of unwilling abductees." Morton made many references to the creature's sick appearance and condition.
The alien made very jerky movements and kept bobbing up and down.
He continued to describe the apparently distressed state the creature was in. "Its skin was a pinkish beige, but the rest of the head looked purple and bruised, as if it had suffered severe contusions across the skull." The contents of the tape grew progressively more disturbing.
Towards the end of the tape, the creature goes into what appears to be violent spasms, as if it was having a seizure.
The mouth of the alien opens and closes before a foam begins to come out.
At that point the heart monitor (as described by Morton) begins to start jumping wildly, at which point the man in the military looking uniform signals to a couple of medics, who rush into the frame and aid the alien.
As the doctors treat the alien, the footage suddenly comes to an abrupt end. Fact or Fiction? The authenticity of the footage is seen differently by many people.
Morton is convinced the footage is real due to strong relationships with stories of alien abductees and the information on the footage in the lower part of the frame. I myself am dubious, but do recognize the factors which lead to its possible true authenticity.
The ET's appearance and features are recognizable as those mentioned by hundreds of abductees.
Known as "The Gourdos" or the more feared "Grey" species, the alien is instantly recognizable by any Ufologist. Another factor helping the video's authenticity is the information etched into the bottom of the video. The footage has the characters DNI/27 burnt into the bottom line of the frame, along with what appears to be the time code numbers for date, minutes and seconds.
The letters DNI could be an acronym for the Department of Naval Intelligence, the group responsible for the Area 51 base, a fact not many people know about.
The DNI connection to Area 51 has been widely investigated.
George Knapp, the TV journalist who encouraged Bob Lazar to go public with his knowledge has shown that Lazar's pay cheques from the time he claimed to be working at Area 51 had DNI stamped on them. Victor's Reasoning The best place to possibly determine the authenticity of the alien interview footage is the source, in this case a mysterious man known as Victor who won't reveal ANY specific details about himself in fear of discovery and assassination.
If the man is telling the truth about his background at Area 51, then this is understandable.
But how can the film be verified without any knowledge of it? The producer of the documentary, Jeff Broadstreet, does know how Victor took the footage from the base.
Victor told him he managed to obtain a copy of the video when in an unsupervised moment. Broadstreet stated the following: "He was assisting in the process of downloading a large amount of video analogue tape to storage on DVD or digital video disc." He further explains that Victor deliberately removed the audio track to protect the identity of the men in the video and to also help protect his own anonymity.
Victor also told the producer that he thought the man on the left, who is seen with his hand to his head during much of the segment, is a military telepath apparently used to assist in communication with the creature. Since the creature is obviously in a great deal of distress, when Broadstreet asked if the creature died later, Victor replied cryptically, "I'm not sure, but I know it was retired from the interview process." According to Victor, the contents of the removed audio track involved an attempt at trying to obtain some form of technological information from the alien about the coordinates of a ship or object.
He does not know, or wouldn't tell, whether the alien was attending the interview voluntarily or against his will after he had been recovered from some UFO crash retrieval operation.
On January 20, Military forces captured two extraterrestrial creatures still alive in Brazil.
The capture occurred in neighboring areas of city of Varginha, State of Minas Gerais, Central Brazil.
The fact is to be considered one of the most significant ever registered in this country and in the entire world.
Military authorities are keeping secret all details of the operation, but some information has already leaked to the UFO community due to the investigative job of Dr., Ubiraja Franco Rodrigues and Vitorio Paccaccini who lives nearby and recognized as serious and dedicated researchers. On the afternoon of January 20, about 3.30 PM local time, 3 young girls named Liliane, Valquiria and Katia observed a strange creature in a field of small bushes a few blocks from where they live.
It was Saturday and they were coming back from their jobs when, crossing an empty area their attention was attracted by a strange being a few meters away.
The ET was kneeling and looked like it was hurt, suffering some sort of pain.
No UFO was ever seen.
The girls observed it for a few minutes and run away, afraid that they had just encountered the devil. The three girls were extensively interrogated by above mentioned researchers, leaving no doubt whatsoever about what happened.
Very simple kids, they described the ET's as being a dark brown creature, with a small body of 4 - 5 feet in height, no hair at all, big brown head, small neck.
It also seemed to have some greasy, dark oil on its skin.
A strange odor was noticed by the mother of the girls, when she went to the site.
The head of the creature had 2 big red eyes, no pupils, very small mouth and nose and - what is interesting - 3 protuberances in the head.
The girls described such protuberances as horns. Following the leads, researcher Rodrigues and Pacaccini started making inquiries everywhere in the town of Varginha, in order to know if anybody else had seen the same creature.
They found several other people who also observed the ET's in the same location and maybe other ET's in different locations.
While conducting their own investigations, both discovered that different witnesses has seen army trucks and other military vehicle and personnel that very morning of that day, a few blocks from the place the girls saw the ET's. In trying to find out what the military were doing, Rodrigues and Pacaccini came to meet a few soldiers and sergeants.
One of them decided to talk secretly about their mission, in a confidential taped interview.
This Sergeant confirmed that, about 9:00 AM, January 20. the Fire Department of Varginha was required to capture a strange animal in the area.
When four fireman arrived in a truck in the place, they noticed that it was not any strange animal at all, and reported the fact to the Army Sergeant School Commander in neighboring city of Tres Coracoes (about 10 miles east of Varginha) Army truck was sent to the place and both forces captured the creature using nets and equipment regularly used to capture wild animals.
The ET was placed till alive in a box that was then covered by resistant fabric.
The box was placed on top of the truck, the vehicle headed to the Army Sergeant School and all personnel involved was ordered not to talk about it with anyone else "It was a Secret Operation" told them the lieutenant-colonel Wanderley, who commanded the operation.
After such unusual, confidential report a few other military decided to come forward and speak about the captures as long as their identities were totally kept secret.
They all confirmed, on taped interviews, that a second creature (possibly the same one seen by the girls that afternoon) was captured on the night of January 20, by personnel from the Army and the Fire Department. Details of such operation is fully known.
This creature identical to the first one, was taken to the Regional General Hospital of Varginha that same night, stayed there for a few hours and then was transferred to a better equipped facility, the Humanitas Hospital. A few nurses and personnel from Regional General Hospital had confirmed some facts and they were all suppressed.
Individuals who had contacts with the second creature were advised to avoid press and UFO Researchers and not to talk about it with anyone, not ever their families or relations.
At the Humanities Hospital the second creature was kept at least for 2 days and on the second night on January 22nd a huge military operation took place to remove the creature already dead. Interviews with some of the military who participated in this new operation, removing the creature from the Humanitas Hospital, declared that 3 Army trucks were used, each one driven by 2 different soldiers.
It is believed that 3 trucks were used to remove only one body in order to avoid the soldiers to know in which truck would it be transported.
The drivers and their follows couldn't see the details of the operations, as they were kept outside the hospital area.
Military personnel from the Army Internal Intelligence (called "S-2" in Brazil and extremely violent and repressive) were responsible for getting the corpse from the interior of the hospital, placing it in a box and then in one of the trucks. All 3 trucks then were taken to a military facility in Campinas, State of Sao Paulo, about 200 miles from Varginha, in the middle of the night.
There, the corpse was removed to the University of Campinas , one of the best institutions in the country.
It is believed - and we already have detailed information to be soon released that the ET body was autopsied by Dr. Badan Palhares, worldwide acclaimed as one of the best professionals in that area alive (he was the one who autopsied German Nazi Mengele, about ten years ago) Palhares, as well as any other authority involved, denied he was involved in any such operations. UFO researchers from all over the country have been helping closely Rodrigues and Pacaccini, in order to discover each and every detail of the capture of the two ET's, Media in Brazil has never been so active and great majority of population believes that the case is real and that the military and civil authorities involved are keeping the facts secret.
Many strange facts are happening simultaneously, such as prison of soldiers, Sergeants being transferred at short notice.
The phones of many UFO researchers involved in the case are confirmed to be tapped and a few threats have been made anonymously. Up to now, almost all details of the whole operation are known to the UFO researchers and a few can already been released.
In a matter of weeks, all information will be fully disclosed by the UFO researchers involved, throughout the UFO Magazine, to the entire world. Everyday new pieces of this fantastic puzzle are being received by researchers in many cities and more and more military personnel have agreed to talk.
